Whether it’s ADR, Video Games, Narration, Promo, Commercial or Animation, we have done it all. We’ve worked with such studios as Activision, Netflix, Discovery Network, and PBS, just to name a few.
If you are an outside studio or can’t bring your talent in for whatever reason, let us take care of your needs. We can patch in, record on our end or both. Receiving your raws organized the way you ask and having an engineer working on the other end has been a happy choice for all the studios we have worked with.
Demos
If you are a director or talent, have your demos recorded, produced and mixed here at Float. Commercial, Animation, Promo, Creature, Video Game; whatever it is, we put the time in to make it sound real and professional. All our music and fx is licensed and/or produced in house. We aim to feature the talent and strike a balance of realism in production without sounding over produced.
Each demo we do is unique and stands out. We put love, care, and a touch of humor and fun in every demo we do.
We have experienced demo directors we collaborate with, who will be with you through the entire process. So whether you are coming in to work with our team, bringing in your own directors, or just coming in to record an addition, we can take care of your demo needs.
Auditions
Here at Float, we’re dedicated to doing whatever it takes to help you win! That’s why we offer discounted sessions for voice over audition sessions. Audition recording quality has become even more important than ever, come record your next audition at a studio. Bring in your coach or use our in-house directors. Take the full hour on one audition or knock out a few in one session. We’ll edit your auditions with the same love and care that we do for the TV shows, video games, and commercials that regularly get recorded with us.
Podcasting
Sit back on a comfortable couch with a single, double or ensemble cast. We can help you set up your session with ease and deliver a clean recording. Run through our console with our engineer or go live and multi-stream. Either way we will set up a space to fit your needs.

Mix & Master
We offer mixing and mastering services for everything we track here at Float, as well as material that was recorded elsewhere. If you are bringing in material, we will gladly review it and help come up with the best plan of action to fit your needs. We offer digital mastering services, done all in box. With quick return times, and no revision limits. We’re here to work with you until it’s perfect and you are satisfied.
Lessons
We’re dedicated to helping out in any way we can. That’s why we now offer one-on-one lessons of all kinds! While we recommend in person lessons, we also offer virtual lessons through Zoom or Skype. So whether you want to finally dig deep into music theory, or you just need to learn how to edit your voice over auditions, we’ve got you covered. If you would like beginner’s lessons in piano, guitar, or voice, come learn at Float, and have your material professionally recorded at the end of the month’s lessons!
WORKSHOPS
ADR Workshop
Learn the lingo and what is expected of you in a dubbing session. ADR can be technically overwhelming at first. It can be like driving a car on the road your first time, practice makes perfect and understanding what is expected and being prepared for it will help. Eventually it becomes second nature and you can be confident and focus on your performance. Here you will work with experienced dubbing actor/directors and have an opportunity to step up to the mic and play.
Beginning VO Studio Experience Workshop
This workshop is for beginner VO actors and VO actors who have yet to book there first in studio gig. We go over basic mic technique, Studio educate, Dos and Don’ts, and lastly be directed in a mock session with an experience professional director, producer, or casting director. Followed by a short QnA. This is a 3.5 hour workshop offered quarterly in studio. Our intention is to give budding VO actors the experience of the studio so they can book and walk in that studio with confidence. Limited spaces.
Beginning VO Workout
You have asked for it and we are back. This is a bi-weekly workout for budding voice actors. A place to work through copy, listen to other actors and grow as you work towards finding your voice signature and build towards your demos. We all need to start somewhere, and working and training with others, developing your ear is just as important as working on your own. Join us and let’s work together. Commercial will be the practical focus in every session, but that will follow up something different every session. We change it up and work out that VO muscle while learning different parts of the VO industry. From the different forms of animation, video games, promo, e-learning and more. This is a safe place to try something new, learn grow and have fun.
Songwriter & Producer Workshop
Our bi-weekly songwriting and music production workshop is a wonderful place for Artists, Writers, and Producers alike to connect, learn from each other, and grow. We start every session with a group discussion. The topic of the discussion ranges from writing techniques to industry questions. After that we have a peer-to-peer demo feedback session where we give everyone a chance to play one of their current demos for the group. Not only will everyone get a chance to hear how their current demo sounds in a studio environment, but they will have an opportunity to ask the group for their thoughts and tips. Attending the group gives Artists a place where they can share their work in real time, get direct personalized feedback, and learn new writing techniques. We welcome all writers from all skill levels to join and become a part of our team!
